Salvage #9 is the newest addition to our fleet. She is a 34-foot Silverships. She is constructed of all Aluminum Plate with a deep-V hull design. She carries ¼ inch plate with ½ inch Stingers. It has an all-weather aluminum pilothouse and a John Deere 6068sfm50 399hp Diesel powers it. T
he drive system is a Simplicity drive—basically, a tunnel-drive system with a nozzle around the propeller. It has a keel and propeller guard for shallow water operations. It has a 6hp Bow Thruster for slow speed operations. It has a wide 11-foot beam for very stable salvage operations in open water. PVC bumpers in a channel in the hull surround the vessel. She has an enormous amount of pulling power and is made for the most difficult situations.
